Telsasoft, a Telecommunications Service Assurance Company, Introduces WebAlert and Voice Response Unit (VRU)

Telsasoft today announced that it has introduced WebAlert and Voice Response Unit alarm notification products to extend existing paging capabilities.

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 4 /PRWeb/ – Today more managers are using smartphones on the go. Often times they would like to have an update on the performance of their networks statuses in real time. Another growing trend is the use of the Linux operating system in the workplace. Using WebAlert, managers and technicians have access to network alarms using any device with a web browser.

With any mobile device or web browser, managers can access to their wireless and/or wire-line networks in real time virtually anywhere to get up-to-the-minute alarm events status information; can process alarms (acknowledge, clear and make remarks); can browse via the web interface; provides SSL encryption for access via insecure public network and the interface is streamlined for the limitation of today mobile device.

With Voice Response Unit (VRU), alarms are sent to the service technician’s land line phone. Once entered a security code enables the service technician to listen, acknowledge and clear alarms. The system prompts and assists the operator through all the functions.

Telsasoft’s next generation OSS products use the latest 64 bit Linux SuSE operating system and employ a Microsoft dotNET based client in addition to WebAlert. The architecture places a server at the center of all network elements. The server talks to every device in the network and assembles raw data for alarms and metrics, then prepares information for display and notifies the tech-on-call of any particular alarm or issue. For maximum user-friendliness, we use a Microsoft dotNET based client, an easy-to-load-self-updating client that can be installed on NOC, engineers’ or managers’ machines, all providing safe and secure access definable per user. Users see their alarms and metrics on maps and can graph any data. Telsasoft designs reports with standard and proprietary algorithms and formulae.

Telsasoft designs, develops, sells and installs service assurance management software to serve the telecommunications service operations in a rapidly growing communications market. The company’s integrated suite of alarm/fault management software, performance monitoring, traffic projection and capacity analysis software allow service providers to monitor, report and analyze the health of their network. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA the company has served over 20 of the most innovative carriers in the U.S., the Caribbean Islands and the Asia Pacific Regions as it customers.
